Texas Elite Pet Rescue

They want to do their part to help these adorable animals find new homes. Quincy and Cynthia Dennis are two military veterans from the wonderful State of Texas. While Cynthia is from the Texas village of Colmesneil, Quincy was born and reared in Port Arthur, Texas.

They both fell in love with the purpose and experience that came with each animal while transporting with A.R.K. When the tragedy occurred in 2020, the pair realized it was critical to get rescued animals to their destinations in Texas and throughout the nation. Texas Elite Pet Rescue was founded as a result.

While they wait to be adopted into a permanent home, the animals at Texas Elite Pet Rescue are devoted to being kept secure, content, and healthy. They aspire to be jobless one day and anticipate seeing vacant shelters and no stray animals.

Belles Buds Rescue

Belle’s Buds Rescue’s goal is to enhance canine and human lives. Dogs of all shapes and sizes should be preserved.

They envision a time when every adoptable dog has a loving, safe, and long-term home and isn’t left on the streets. They provide aid to saved, hurt, fostered, and adopted animals.

Adopting a dog is an encounter of the heart and head. A dedication throughout a lifetime to an animal that will be your best friend and constant companion.

You cannot meet all their pets in “one area,” as they are not a shelter. Please be aware that they are a foster-based rescue.

Meetings with dogs are only possible by appointment once they have received your application and spoken with you on the phone. Since they are not a shelter, you cannot meet all their dogs in “one spot.”

They must work with their foster parents to arrange a convenient location and time for their meeting. They also demand home visits, but if that is not possible due to limitations, they ask that you, at the very least, share images of your home and yard.

Citizens for Animal Protection

Citizens for Animal Protection (C.A.P.), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in 1972 by a group of concerned Houstonians in response to the widespread issue of thousands of neglected and abused animals in Harris County. Most animal shelters, including the city’s program, had poor conditions and minimal guidelines for animal care or adoption processes.

These kindhearted individuals had a dream of a neighborhood that looked out for and safeguarded stray, defenseless animals. This vision includes ground-breaking initiatives, including developing the first thorough pet adoption screening system and pet-facilitated therapy for veterans at the V.A. hospital and senior citizens in nursing homes.

The Sunshine Fund Cat Rescue

Christine Long-Pace, Her first rescue was Panda on September 23, 2016. She weighed hardly a pound and was very underweight.

People cared a lot about her life. She was kept alive. She took in a mother cat and her five kittens in May 2017 after they were born in a neighbor’s garage.

All the infants were adopted, and Momma has integrated permanently into their family. She first routinely began foster care in April 2018, not long after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis.

The day following her first cancer treatment, she adopted a litter of six orange kittens five weeks old. She found that taking care of “The Cheeto Crew” was the finest treatment!

They needed her, so there was no time for self-pity. Over the past few years, the passion developing within her has only grown stronger.

She was aware that she could do more. She realized she had to take more action! To preserve as many feline lives as possible, the Sunshine Fund cat rescue was established.

Since their lives are important, She genuinely cares about every cat and kitten that enters her home.
